THE Golden Jubilee of Bilsborrow Flower and Produce Show was a great success.
Lots of people attended the event, which celebrated its 50th anniversary, and there were some very good entries.
Exhibitors had the chance to enter a number of categories, including flowers, flowers for decoration, vegetables, produce, handicrafts, photography and the children's section.
Those who came first, second or third in each section won prize money, while special prizes were also awarded to exhibitors with the most points in each section.
Mr Ian Topping, manager of Barton Grange Hotel, opened the event and presented prizes, and an auction was held by John Stuart after the prize-giving.
A special anniversary cake was cut by vice-chairman Mary Robinson and everyone enjoyed a piece.
Secretary Marjorie Stuart said: "The day went extremely well."
