Catterall accident holds up traffic on A6

A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a collision at the junction between the A6 and Cock Robin Lane, Catterall, this morning (Thursday).
The woman, who is from the Garstang area, was driving a Renault Clio when she was involved in a collision with a Toyota RAV4, driven by a local man.
A police spokesperson said the woman was taken to Royal Preston Hospital as a precaution.
The rush hour accident, which happened at 7.48am, caused major tailbacks on the A6.
