THE Flag pub on the A6, Garstang, is to close again as the search continues for new full-time tenants.
The pub closed briefly earlier this summer before being run by an agency on behalf of owners Marston for the past few weeks.
Marston said last month they were in talks with several new operators about its long term future.
The Courier learned this week from a reliable source that the pub would be now be temporarily closing, and would be likely to be boarded up until it re-opens under a long term operator.
A spokeswoman for Marstons declined to comment.
