HIGH flying Garstang Travel have this week picked up two major awards.
They lifted the prizes for Best Sales Team and Retail Team of the Year in awards that boast the most rigorous judging process in the travel industry.
The glittering awards events were held at the Palace Hotel in Manchester and the Grosvenor on Park Lane in London.
Garstang Travel celebrate 25 years in business in January and their Director, Nicole Eaves, who attended the awards with two of her managers, said: "I am absolutely thrilled at winning these awards, to be nominated for Best Sales Team and also Retail Team of the Year is one thing, but to actually win is amazing.
"Our competitors were some of the biggest names in retail travel and to gain the recognition for our dedication, innovation and top customer service is the biggest accolade our superb team could ever have received.
"There are some challenging times in the travel industry but we are outperforming the market in several areas especially cruising and the long haul market.
